Committed to Serve
First Responders are confronted daily with situations that are emotionally, physically and mentally draining, and can be demoralizing and create significant burdens. These situations can and do impact the first responders and their families. Stresses include dangerous situations that require split-second decisions, traumatized families and distraught individuals, and frustrations with citizenry criticisms on how they carry out their responsibilities.
Our Story
Marysville Crisis Support Services Team, also known as the Police & Fire Chaplain program, in its current form, began in the fall of 2002. The team members are volunteers with a commitment to serve 1st Responders and the individuals they serve.
